We want everyone to leave the class feeling good and strong, some post exercise soreness is normal, but we don’t want you to spend the next 3 days struggling to pick up your baby! So, we encourage you to progress through these levels slowly and not push through any movements that don’t feel comfortable for you. If any exercises are causing discomfort, incontinence, heaviness in the pelvic floor or abdominal pain / pressure, stop the exercise immediately and inform the instructor. Also, feedback to the instructor if you experience any of these symptoms in the days following the class.

We will set up a safe space for babies to be during the class. You’re welcome to have your baby with you during the exercises or hold them instead of weights, if you feel more comfortable doing that.

Please note, this is a fitness class, not a rehab class.

The fundamental difference being there is no pre and post assessment process and is not designed to target a specific injury or problem area. If you have a specific postnatal injury or pelvic floor concern, I encourage you to book an assessment with a trained Women’s Health Physiotherapist.
